The 2023 Kuuipo Race will include two courses. The Short Course will be ~7 miles from Keauhou bay to Nenue point and return and the Long Course will be ~9.5 miles from Honokohau (Green Buoy), to Keauhou Bay. The Short Course will check-in at the Keauhou halau and the Long Course will check-in at the HIPA Honokohau halau. Check-in is from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, race meeting at 8:30 am, start is at 9:00. Both courses start simultaneously.
Register and payment online 24 hours in advance, REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, March 10th at 9am. No registrations will be allowed the day of the race.
Canoes must have numbers on the ama (left) side of the bow. Paddlers without a number will be assigned one, which they can pick up at check-in. Paddlers that have already been assigned a previous temporary number should register with and reuse that number.
Paddlers on an OC2 must each register.
Lunch will be served after the race. Results will be distributed by email.
